Season's Greetings!

 As 2024 draws to a close, I would like to thank all visitors to canveypost.org and collectors of CILP stamps for their support!

Without you, this local post would not have survived for fourteen years, and we would not have produced some great collectibles since 2010.

We are working on our stamp issuing schedule for 2025 and this will be announced as soon as the details are finalised.

It only remains for me to wish you all a Happy Holiday and Season's Greetings!

Happy Puddingmas Penguins!

On the 27th November the CILP released its first dedicated Christmas themed stamp. We have secured the use of an original cartoon, "Happy Puddingmas Penguins" by cartoonist Paul Munro, for our stamp.

The design shows four penguins all looking forward to their Christmas pudding. However,  one greedy fat penguin has beaten them to it! This cartoon is featured on Paul Munro's personal Xmas cards for 2017 and he has kindly allowed CILP royalty free use of the design

Only 75 stamps have been produced in horizontal format with full perforations and gum, each stamp measuring 44x25mm. No covers or FDI postcards have been produced for this stamp release.
