New Start!
With the re-opening of CILP operations the first mail items to be posted from our new base have travelled through the post to reach some new collectors of CILP stamps! This good start is very encouraging.
Mail items posted from our new headquarters will bear the 'Travelling Local Post' c.d.s. dater only (listed as Type 'G' in our catalogue). Items posted from Canvey Island will use the standard Type 'E' and Type 'F' daters (see catalogue for full details).
New Stamps
Now operations are re-established we have plans to use a number of pre-relocation finalised stamp designs to issue in Q4 of 2026. Until we have firm dates for their issue, subject details will remain under wraps!
I would be interested in hearing from CILP collectors as to what ongoing stamp series subjects they would like to see released in 2027. Let me know your thoughts via our Post Room.
