The main legend is in Suffragette colours of purple, white and green. Three letter rates; Standard, Express, and Official* (Postmaster Use).    Emergency Mail Service (Covid-19) CP040 Issued on: 23-04-2020 Size: 43x26mm Print Run: 90 Series: Emergency Variants: CP040A  Description: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on local UK Royal Mail deliveries, the CILP scheduled additional services for Canvey Island. The stamp was originally designed and printed in July 2016 in preparation for use during postal service disruption or civil emergency. A total of 90 stamps were printed and of these, 10 stamps were made available to collectors as a 'Specimen' overprint in November 2016.
Emergency Mail Service SPECIMEN CP040A Issued on: 18-11-2016 Size: 43x26mm Print Run: 10 Series: Emergency Variants: CP040 Description: The stamp was designed and printed in July 2016 in preparation for use, as required, during any future postal service disruption or civil emergency.
